What would you do if you caught someone checking out what amount you left as a tip?

So, say two people are out to a restaurant on a date.  The guy pays and leaves the tip.  The girl touches the money to check out how much tip on the way out.  If you were the guy, would you say anything?   Would it bother you?   How serious is that? Is that just being observant in dating or is the girl doubting the guys character?

It's 100% the girl seeing the guys character. To girls, in girly magazines they always say "guys who are good tippers are good people."

As far as girly magazines are concerned, if you can't afford to tip well, you must be a future psycho abusive rapist who she must run away from before you lock her in a cage and beat her and starve her.

Anyway, what SHOULD you do? Casually stand up for yourself but not in an angry defensive way. Say it chill but sternly. Like you aren't gonna put up with crap.

Be like "hey, I always leave good tips. And I don't appreciate you snooping on them. It's not your business, and you wouldn't like it if I did it to you. It makes me LOOK BAD for my girl to be double checking my tips, like she's my mom or something. It makes it look like I must not leave good tips."

If she can't handle you saying that to her, and she throws a fit? Then trust me she's way too immature for a relationship anyway, or she just naturally hates men
