Is an off-white dress okay for a wedding?

It's off white, knee length, fitted, and 3/4 length sleeves and a belt. I'm wearing it with a denim jacket for an outdoor wedding. The bride is a good friend of mine and I truly don't think I'll be detracting from her at all but I want to be sure!

Unless it's a country-themed wedding, I'd ditch the denim jacket for something a bit nicer. Otherwise you should be completely fine in the dress!

I wouldnt be happy if my friend wore white/off-white/cream to my wedding no matter how they accessorized it down. I would know that they didnt intend to try and out shine me but I do believe choosing not to wear white or cream is just a sign of respect for the bride

Just remember the brides dress might not be pure white, there are so many shades or white ans ivory, its not worth the risk!

Yeah that should be fine, as long as you want to ruin your good friends day. Don't be that girl, it'd be better for you to show up in the nude

It's not okay to wear white if the bride is. Doesn't matter if it's off white. Pick another dress
