Huge churches have a way of doing this to people. There are simply too many human beings gathering in one place. They are all in each other's way, impeding one another. Plus many of the people who choose to attend may feel like big losers in life and believe that this particular preacher, seen live, is magically going to bail them out of their misery. Being miserable does not enable such people to feel nice towards others.

Its that "holier than thou" attitude christianity instills in people.. They THINK they are the ones with the truth when in reality... they're just peanuts in a shell thinking they are superior while being unaware of the outside world. outside of their little shell..

Well... our town is a bit on the "small" side, but our church might be considered a "mega" church for our town... and I don't know a single snobby/rude person. I love our church... it is Christ-centered, God-filled, and Bible-based... and that is what is most important.

Some of them are and some of them are not. Sometimes the bigger churches have a lot of people that are visitors and not members, so you cannot take the interactions with an average person there as the measure of a strong Christian person.
