Keep looking for auditions. Set your grounds and limits first though. There's a lot of sexual exploitation that happens in these type of careers and you can end up working with a lot of perverts who will try to get you to do things out of your comfort zone telling you that it's what it takes to make it in this type of work. And sometimes that might actually be the cost of making it, but it shouldn't be! So know who you are and don't let anyone take advantage of you. Don't be afraid of saying no and dropping opportunities to find ones that better suits who you are.

No, it`s only lucrative if you become one of the top 1%. Very few models make a living from it. Most have another job as well.

Don't bother with modelling schools. Most agencies don't like model school trained models because of the bad habits they teach.

Model schools will charge you money to teach you to model. There is no guarantee you will be signed by an agency. Better to apply to the agencies first. If an agency wants to sign you they will give you training for free.

It all depends on the type of modeling you pursue... Commercial Print modeling can be very lucrative. I have done this type of modeling as a profession for close to 20 years- http://www.exploremodeling.com/?cristinad

I would steer clear of modeling schools and conventions. They cost a ton of money and really get you no where close to a modeling or acting career in the end...

Do your homework and learn more about the industry. That is the best way to start out. www.ExporeModeling.com has a ton of free videos and articles by industry professionals. You should it out...

    Good luck!!
