Good cheap PSU upgrade for Hp DC5800 model AJ408AV?

You might be out of luck in choosing an alternative power supply. Many PCs that are made by the big companies...and especially the small profile ones, tend to have proprietary power supplies designed specifically for a specific model or model series.
You need to determine the motherboard PIN OUT specs to see if you can plug in an alternative unit.
I would simply find a used one...on eBay...or even craigslist.
