why do boys get labeled as immature?

Question

I'm in high school. just because of one guy in class being a pain in the butt. i had a girl who I'm friends with say that all guys are immature to me in a video chat. I don't agree with that. i didn't say anything back but inside it actually pissed me off. honestly everyone acts in a stupid way at some point with their friends. but in between classes i talk a lot with friends and laugh at lunch and that kind of stuff. and apparently thats immature. its like my friend says a joke that i think is funny. so i laugh. is that immature. i don't think so. my friend isn't in any of my classes. she doesn't know that i go the whole class without speaking at all unless I have to. And i don't yell out. while other kids are talking and all kinds of stuff. I am quiet. I find that most people who say this about boys in general are immature themselves. i may be immature at some points when I'm with a group of friends. but everyone else in the group is being the same way.

i don't know why it annoys me this much that some girls say this all the time. i should just get used to it. i understand why they say it. but i don't understand why that can't say that one person is immature instead of tying in the whole gender.

Thats nonsense how mature it is of her to categorize all boys as immature. My suggestion is to- either stop talking with her, tell her that you want someone more mature who doesnt stereotype other people. Or start picking on her habits. Whenever she says something silly or act silly, and believe me she will because girls think acting silly is attractive to guys (idk if it really is), taunt her on being immature. Then maybe she will realize to judge better and finally grow up a bit. This is happening basically because in our culture, there is this belief that girls are mature/ boys are immature (teenagers, not adults) and people blindly follow and perpetuate such stereotypes.

You want to hear a small piece of the truth? Maturity is NOTICED by a person's ability to control their "unsavory" habits. Someone who does not know how to do this (in extreme) uses a lot of energy. (moves around a lot, loud, physically uninhibited). But maturity is built. Since boys have an *** load of energy inside of them, they don't give a **** about maturing quickly. And even if they get smart, they don't want to restrict their energy output. Girls can restrict their bodies early because they don't produce much "life" in the first place. (I know ironic to say they don't produce life). But once men start becoming mature they are ******* masters. Women on the other hand, start declining mentally and emotionally lulz. When they hit their 20s, women return to being little girls emotionally.

Girls physically mature faster but in reality are more immature.They are so uptight ,over-sensitive etc. and everyone behaving otherwise is immature.Of course ,this only applies in general.
