I bought a Mac computer in November 2011 but don't have AppleCare, do I have to buy one?

My computer needs to repair and I was wondering whether or not buy AppleCare to save money.

I would suggest taking your computer to an Apple authorized repair shop. You won't be able to get the Apple Care plan at this time, and by taking it to an Apple authorized repair shop you can save money and time.

Unfortunately if you wanted Apple Care+ you have to buy it at the point of purchase

Well I will not talk against Apple care but it means, you pay money for future repairs.

I am not sure how much you pay for it for a a 2011 MacBook and whether it's possible or not.

Usually Apple wont charge to much for minor repair. The best thing will be to talk to Apple and ask if it is possible now and how much.

    Thanks.
