Is it just me, or are the religious on here...?

...more vehement than before? A new wave of zealotry, stronger than before.

It is more angry these days, seems to me. I think they need more humor in their lives because all this sin and Hell talk has gotten them down.

Well, the bIble does tell us that satan and his demons are now roaming the earth looking for people to devour, knowing they have only a short time left before they are locked away. They will be doing their best to whip up trouble and misery. Just look at the news - every day more awful tragedies and wars....

I expect that sort of emotional, vicious response from people who rely upon blind

faith to believe some of the silliest things that anyone ever heard.

If I didn't have a leg to stand on in an argument, I might get a little testy too.

Its called cowerdice with the invention of the interweebs any ignorant cave dweller who read one book and became terrified as to the prospect of eternity and what if? Can spew rhetoric and back it up with one book pieced together from several scripts n scrolls from thousands of years ago. Fantaisism and fanatics can come online and spew dispute argue without fear of prosecution in beliefs that well quite frankly arnt even there own beliefs but something the were pounded in the head with through one book.....sometimes I can just imagine that if society ever fell.....what religions would spawn over finding a buried Stephen king or HP Lovecraft book

I could surf this tidal wave of darkness to get to the other shore,

Only for those chains of malevolent sin clinging to my surf board.

Aloft the wave I try to stay with the prayer and pretence grin,

Yet my pride and ignorance always drags me back to the sea bed floor.

We don't deserve the love we get, but for the grace of God.

The lambastes, the rants, the cries the chants at the ignorant greedy selfish mob.

They say "The Kingdom of God is within>" A Jewel beneath our feet!

Yet I continue to lie beneath the wave reaching for a better seat.

I could be the one, the catalyst for the peaceful transition in man,

Perhaps a deathly darkness, a fate reserved for those who never ran!

We thank you for this cosmic show; we are the faithful, humble and the brave.

Thank-you Lord for reminding me to keep throwing corks against your tidal wave.

Oh I hope so. Praise the Lord the more his word is past around the more souls will be saved. " God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him." [John 3:17 NIV] A-men and A-men .

    [ Act 1:8 ]
