i have a question about god. (christians)?
To me it seems like God wants us to suffer. I love God, I do, don't tell me I dont, I try to obey him, but it all makes me a little angry. It seems like we are art by God, and hell is a trashcan, so if we aren't a good piece of work, we get thrown away. If you act like you are naturally hardwired to do, you burn. It seems like you must abandon all your natural instincts to please him. He created the urge for sex, and made it a sin outside of marriage, when you get those urges at 12-13, when you can't marry. He made being gay a sin, yet most gays are born that way. (I'm not gay) some people say, no they chose to be that way, some yeah, but not all. He made cussing a sin when its a word. (I can understand GD) he made anger a sin, when like me, have been for over a decade, and can't get it out. Some people say you get saved by works, others say just believe and try to follow christ, why is there two? It seems like, to me, any thing natural is sin. He made things this way, then decided to make it punishable by death! Its a test to see who is worthy of living. That isn't right to me. If you had sex at say,16 unmarried, and don't repent, you die. I mean come on really! I totally agree that marriage is best but I mean dang. It truly makes me mad. To be clear again, I am a Christian, believe, love, and trust Jesus , but it confuses me so bad. I will continue to try to serve him, but I feel like I'm losing him due to this.

I am an athiest but you sound like a nice kid so I thought I would post.
I agree with your notions. The underlying message of Christ is a good and worthy one. The strict dogma you have been spoon-fed is nonsense.
Here is a quote from a very wise man indeed, as he ruled over a quarter of the world's population and was considered one of the Roman Empire's "Four Good Emperors"
It is the best quote I know to live happily with or without the Gods:
Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.

Hart Breaker- had some really good points...there are things as a society of humans that you can do and things you can't do. Even though you might see a pretty girl and you might have the urge to take it further but she is already taken by another man, you will reap consequences if you still continue to take it further....
God put that attraction in us to produce more humans ( for the main purpose) But that doesn't mean we can go buck wild like another person commented, its all about self control in everything. God gave us the gift of wine to enjoy not to abuse and beat our family and be drunkards but to enjoy life.
To the point of someone being born gay, it has a lot to do with the problems in this world, we eat so many chemicals and hormones in our day to day food that it can cause chemical brain imbalances in the birth of babies. The same way that a baby can be born without an arm or a leg, that is just an issue that God will have to take care of in the coming Paradise earth where he promises that he will bring our bodies back to perfection. The ears of the deaf will be unstopped, the eyes of the blind will be open.
This point brings us back to the point that it is all self control within ourselves, for maybe for the man that was born without an arm...does that give him the right to cut off someone elses arm because he doesn't have one like everyone else?? NO! The same way if your born with brain chemical imbalances that doesn't give you the right to do or take what you think should be yours, but we all have problems..some of us asthma so we can't be around cats or food allergies so we can't eat nuts or other things this is just our own imperfections and we can't do things that are not good for us even if we want to do.
God will fix all these problems soon.
There are a lot of fanatics spreading a false perspective of God that if you do something wrong your going to HELL!! Well if they are really reading the Bible like they claim that they would learn that Hell means " the common grave of mankind" aka "the dirt" Not a place where God condemns and watches people suffer and be tortured.
Read and study the bible for yourself and research the information and you will be surprised what you will find.
I suggest the book "What does the Bible Really Teach" it is a simplified Bible guide where to look for the top most 19 asked Questions that people all over the world wonder.

As a bisexual Christian I'm glad that I spent the time in the Bible, and learned what God made with Christ.
It's not another Law of Moses. It's a covenant where if I put my trust in Christ, he says that will make peace between me and God. In other words, I'm still bisexual, I'm still a sinner even if I wasn't bisexual, but God doesn't see me that way any more. He sees me in Christ.
As for those Christians who say that you have to not be Gay in order to be saved, they sound just like the Pharisees sometimes, don't they? What the church fails to do is see how the Pharisees behaved towards Jesus, then not see that they are behaving the same towards the Gospel when it comes to being "good enough".
The Pharisees thought that they were good enough to have God all in their corner, but Jesus didn't get along with people who thought that way.

Thanks for sharing your honest feelings. Do you really think the Almighty God of the universe, wants us to be confused in our worship of him? Absolutely not! First of all, to love him and worship him, you must know him and based on your confusion, you don't. Jesus is not Almighty God, but he is his only-begotten son (John 3:16). God's personal name is Jehovah (Psalm 83:18), which means, He Causes to Become.
Though Jehovah God provides directions and instructions, he does not force us to accept them. Rather, as a loving Benefactor, he warmly appeals to us: “I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit yourself, the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk. O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” (Isaiah 48:17, 18) In short, if we heed God’s direction, we will live well. To put it another way, to live well and be happy, we need God.
So instead of listening to what "some people say," get to know him for yourself by reading and deeply studying the Bible. Getting to know him will help you develop a deep love for him. Hence, "the love of God means, that we observe his commandments; and yet his commandments are not burdensome. (1 John 5:3)

A true Christian is one who follows the teachings of Jesus - to love one another; be kind, loving, forgiving, compassionate, etc to all of creation. That's it. Nothing else. That is all that Jesus ever really taught. You don't have to do anything else to be a true Christian.
Jesus never advocated dogma, rituals or worship. And he was very against the dogmatic ritualistic priests of his time.

You will have a much easier time in life if you stop thinking about superstitions you can't see. Religion is insanity; they make up a bunch of arbitrary rules just for the sake of following those rules, not because those rules are any good. Remember Leviticus? It says you should stone gays, but we all know as moral people that would be highly wrong. It also says you should stone betrothed rape victims, but we should all know as moral people that would be highly wrong. In the Bible, it says that you can have slaves, as long as they aren't your countrymen, and that if you beat them to death, but it takes a few days for them to die, the fact that they died was punishment enough.
Do you really think you should be getting your moral code out of that book?

In order to build intelligence, you must study.
In order to build physical strength, you must work out.
How do you expect to build character effortlessly?
And it is about relationship. If you do "everything that comes naturally" then you would be nothing more than an animal and would end virtually every relationship you were in. How many friends would you have if you banged all their GFs? or took their food and drink? Every relationship requires some self-denial to maintain.
Though actually it seems that you are complaining that God made things so that you would enjoy them. He does not ban things that you enjoy. He commands that you enjoy them responsibly. Otherwise you are just like a rat hitting a button to get a drug over and over and forgetting to take care of other needs.
