What is wrong with the Veterans Affairs Hospitals ?

This NONSENSE has been going on for over 20 years!!! If you work at a VA, question ANYTHING, or they think you are a potential whistleblower you become a threat to what they do, and you will find yourself transferred out of your section working nights, your life/job will become miserable with an unbearable hostile work environment, you will quit or eventually you'll be fired!!! The VA system is a local system within a huge cash cow system, it's the lowest on the executive branch chain with a budget from hell $$$. The local VA's are taken over by a perpetual group of corrupt people in charge of hiring who they want when they want, cronyism, nepotism, favoritism, blackmailing, large kick-backs, no bid contracts, and outrageous corruption throughout. Not to mention all the fraud waste and abuse. There are annual bonuses to pay people off (hush money), but there's also monthly bonuses where they hand out cash to each other for doing their job throughout the year, every year. Most all of the so-called doctors are NOT even real doctors, they are all in training, mostly Middle-Eastern. They are paid far less, while management saves that money to eventually spend it elsewhere, and it is all pocketed down the road. There's NO oversight or regulation of anything!!! IT's A FREE-FOR-ALL.... Sadly, the veterans are the ones who suffer with inadequate substandard health care. Something NEEDS to finally change... the bullsheet games have to finally STOP!!!

Money. Congress does not adequately fund the VA system. Without more funding the VA cannot hire enough doctors and nurses to care for all our veterans.

After the big "sequestration" deal of 2013, all parts of government got squeezed and/or cut, including VA. So even though Congress passed a law saying all veterans will see a doctor in 14 days, there's not enough personnel to do it!

The politicians played a game of chicken with the budget, and the VA was part of the collateral damage.
