Did anyone see the Camelopardalids meteor shower last night.?

We clouded over before it started. I have not seen any write-ups so I figure it was a fizzle. Just wondering if anyone saw them?

I watched from the Bay Area (Santa Clara County) from 11:30 PM to midnight. When I started, clouds blocked the fainter stars and reflected the light pollution; conditions worsened, and by midnight only one star was visible. I saw one meteor (roughly magnitude 2) in 30 minutes, and then gave up; the meteor path was consistent with the radiant of the Camelopardalids.

For a larger perspective, see these web sites, which have plots of Zenithal Hourly Rate (ZHR) versus time:

    http://www.imo.net/live/cameleopardalids2014/

The ZHR peaked at a value of about 15 from about 11 PM PDT to 2 AM. An observer at latitude 38 North in ideal dark-sky conditions would have seen about 9 meteors per hour.

Bottom line: This meteor shower was disappointing, and much poorer than the annual Perseids and Geminids showers.
