Is it a sin to throw away holy water?

So there was holy water in a water bottle in the fridge. It's been there for sooooo long maybe over a year! So I really needed a water bottle and didn't have one besides that so I threw out the holy water and I don't know if a sin and I feel very guilty please help

    It's only water. Probably came out of the kitchen tap when the priest needed a refill. No amount of blessings by a priest or some other so-called holy person is going to make any difference to it, it is just water.

    It's just water. It's probably stale and unsuitable to use for anything. Also, a priest cannot make water holy.

    No; holy water has been scientifically examined and found to have fecal germs growing in there.

    Atleast you could have sprayed some in your house to cleanse it of lost atheist spirits.

    It is a sin and a waste of holy water.
