If you take away one right, what else can they do. 
We already haves laws that protect us from violence. No amount of laws will ever protect you from a violently mentally ill patient. 
If this takes affect mentally ill peopke will be subject to searching like felons. 
One quarter of the U.S. population is diagnosed as mentally ill and you know their are more.
Allowing this to happen to one group opens it too all groups.
I think Obama should be sued for discrimination. I think Obama is a bit on the ill side as well.

Putting prohibitions on ownership based on imminent public danger is not a repeal of the 2nd Amendment.

You are way off base.

Not all mentally ill people are violent. Not even most of them.

Americans will never surrender their guns. Ever. Not even if O says they have to.

Children and mentally ill people should not have access to guns or any weapon. If either uses a gun, the owner of the gun should bear the responsibility. Guns should be safeguarded at all times.

If you are referring to this latest incident, the young man in question also killed three people by STABBING THEM. I hear no mention of removing all knives from society. Removing guns and knives will not stop the violence or solve the problem.

We have to start helping the mentally ill among us.

I almost forgot. American cannot sue their government which is a shame!
