Best way to remove box dye?
Hair is dyed black with bad box color. Just looking to add a few small chunks of bright color. Have done bleach and it works.. Sort of. The ends stay darker tho. Would a color stripper/remover work better? Suggestions?

Use a soap cap. Little of powder bleach with 10 - 20 volume developer mixed with shampoo. Have someone watch your hair. Will lift the black. (Caution - your hair will look bad/patchy until you color it again. Same with the color remover kits from Sallys Beauty Supply)

Using hair color remover will most definitely work. There are color removers like Color Zap that will make your hair the color that it is naturally, as well as Color Removers that will gently make your hair colorless, or bleach blonde.
