How to calculate wind drift when shooting?

Hi I have a .177 Air rifle that shoots at about 1000 FPS with Crosman Field Hunting .177 Cal, 7.4 Grains, Pointed pellets. I'm trying to figure out how to calculate wind drift as its different for each type/brand of bullet as well as the velocity of the bullet right? I also know that the angle of the wind makes a difference. Any Idea on how to calculate this?

I know that this is in the physics section... Ill move the question if people feel like I should.

Not sure what you mean by 'wind drift'. Do you mean Drag? Trajectory? Final Velocity? or a combination of all these to get Deflection?

Since you're saying air rifle, I'm going to assume your a kid so some of these terms, although you think you might know what they mean, you should look up.

    Airgun trajectory calculator

    http://www.airguns.net/trajectory.php

This calculator will give you both the drop and the drift.

You need chronograph numbers for your rifle/pellet combo and the Ballistic Coefficient of the pellet.
