Help with Geometry homeowork?

- The windshield wiper on my car makes a sector of a circle as it wipes across the window, If the wiper is 1.8 feet in length and the area of the sector created by the wiper blade is 4.24 square feet, what is the central angle of the window that the wiper covers to the nearest degree.

He gave us the answer (150 degrees) but he hasn't taught us how to actually solve it.

Is there a specific equation you use for problems like these?

    Area = (angle/2)r^2 ---->angle = 2A/r^2 = 2.6173 radians = 2.6173(180/pi) =150 degrees
