Find the general solution if it is a linear equation or argue that is it not a linear equation?
For each of the following equations, find the general solution if it is a linear equation or argue that it is not a linear equation
a) 2x+y-z=cos(3)
b) 3x+log(3y) = 5
c) sqrt(2)x+y-z=2
d) x+y<2
e) 0x+0y=1
here's what I know
linear equation does not involve any products or roots of variables. All variables
occur only to the first power and do not appear, for example, as arguments of trigonometric, logarithmic, or exponential functions.
but then x+5y-sqrt(2z)=1 is a linear function... but I thought... that would be a root
