Conservation of Energy Principle?
If a child on a swing system is assumed to be conservative, please explain fully how the conservation of energy is followed.

A conservative system would be a system that doesn't have forces like friction. So in this case, when the child is at the its highest point, it has all potential energy and no kinetic energy. When the child is centered at the bottom of the swing's arc, it has no potential energy and all kinetic energy. This system requires that the sum of potential and kinetic energy is always constant.
