How have humans adapted to living within wetland biomes?

    Generally we have not adapted. Our ancestors had severe health problems in wet biomes, so the human population has decreased in most wet biomes, or they have been drained so they are presently less wet.

    Source(s): Jacksonville, Florida, where I live has several thousand kilometers of about two meter ditches, which are mostly empty 24 hours after each hard rain. I suspect some of the run off water is pumped as Jacksonville is very flat.
