What is the hockey equivalent of baseball's 'hitting the cover off the baseball'?

Update:

I wanted to know more about what the actual hockey play would be, not what hockey phrase is most like the baseball phrase. What is the actual hockey play that is most like baseball's hitting the cover off the ball?

I guess there is the old Danny Gallivan classic call

    " a cannonading drive!"

    PS

I just looked up "going bar down" in hockey and it says to put the puck in the net off the crossbar which is not the same thing.

Hitting the cover off means hitting it hard

hitting the cover off the ball equivilent in hockey is "Going bar down"

the flashiest way to describe doing the most offensive activity the best

100% my opinion ... but an educated one
