Kindle/Nook Question?

Thinking about getting an e-reader. I don't give a crap about the pedigree, so I dot care if its a kindle or a nook or whatever else, I just want to be able to read in the sun, so first of all I don't want to hear about the freakin kindle fire. You can't use those in the sun and from what I understand the screen covers are useless. Dont be a smart-alek and tell me to sit in the shade, that's not what im looking for. If you say something like 'get the fire' or 'just buy an out-door umbrella for shade' I will report you for not reading the question. I'm sorry but I'm sick and tired of getting that wherever I look. Okay, now that that's out of the way here's the question.

I'm sort of an Americanized-otaku, so I like manga, and there aren't a whole lot of them on the book stores available, and even less regular books that have been translated. I know that, I've done my research on that bit. I want to know if there are any that you can use in DIRECT SUNLIGHT that can either 1) use a web browser or 2) have image files transferred to it. Thanks for reading the whole question and hopefully for your help.

The Kindle Paperwhite e-reader is amazing can be easily read in direct sunlight and in pitch darkness without eye strain. I have also heard the same for the nook but cannot verify as I have never tried the nook first hand. However you cannot transfer image files on both of these reader or use a browser. Well technically you can browse on the kindle but the browser is bad and is said to be 'experimental'. Both the readers have e-ink displays and so are meant to only read novels as they are black and white.

Reading comics are best done on a tablet like the Galaxy Tab, iPad. I've used the iPad in direct sunlight and didn't have much of a problem, after increasing the brightness it works like a charm.

For your needs I would suggest a tablet, (pst may be the Kindle Fire) but as you said you cannot read in the sun. Umph! So... sorry I cannot find a proper answer for you :(

Hope I kind of helped in steering you in the right direction...
