Who really is behind the suffering in the world?

Question

Revelation 12:9, 12

" So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.

" On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time."

So Jehovah is not to blame for the suffering in the world, Satan the devil is the cause.

But soon Jesus is going to do away with Satan and his demons.
Revelation 20: 1-3
" And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 He seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for 1,000 years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not mislead the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were ended. After this he must be released for a little while."

I am a Christian and I have a different angle to this great question:

The devil is not so much the problem. he just lies to people.

The problem is when people, using their free will, decide to listen to the devil and knowingly ignore and reject the laws of God. When they do that they give the devil a legal right to attack...and this is happening all over the world.

But can you imagine this world if people would obey God everywhere?

If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God. Deuteronomy 28

But you just need to look right here on yahoo Answers, people are willingly and knowingly ignoring and rejecting God, and they love to come up with really silly and dumm ways to ridicule Christians. It is this behavior that gives the devil legal rights to attack. And from what I see I fear that great and unprecedented tragedies lie ahead.

Most suffering of people today are either done by their bosses or self inflicted. Why did you drag Religion into this? People blame satan because they won't have the guts to blame themselves for being horrible at what they do.

I think reality is behind most of the world's suffering and a lot of it is caused by people with TOO much Power=Money...
