David M pretty much said it all. To easy to turn off a check engine light these days. Seeing how scanners are so cheap. Would take a bit of driving for all the monitors to come back up and the light to come on if this was the case. No plates on the car in the picture which probably means it is not registered and insured. You will most likely not be a able to take it for a good test drive. Up on the highway and what not. I think you can do better. If it is local enough might be worth a look but I would not go out of my way to check it out. Bring $1200 cash and if you think it is worth that make the offer. Be prepared to walk away.

It may be. But #1 question to ask when shopping a car from craigs: Is the title in your name? If they start into some story about why it is not, move on ! Too many curb stoners and auction flippers on craigs, and very few if any are reputable.

Flipper. Bought it at an auction, hasn't licensed it, probably paid 300 for it. I say go for it.
