Yes. In the beginning mankind was given just a few commands, and managed to mess up before he even finished fulfilling them. (Gen.1:28, 2:16 & 17) Fortunately, the time is coming in the near future when things will go back to how they were supposed to be before sin became a part of life. (Ps.37:10, 11, 29, Prov.2:21 & 22)

our eyes (like our heart) can lead us into temptation. Like Eve she was familiar with the tree of Knowledge and she knew that Jehovah had told her not to touch it (or eat of it) or

    she would SURELY DIE.

Satan came along and tempted her--just once--telling her that in the day she ate of it she was "sure to become like God." At that very moment she began to long for it so that she could become like ALMIGHTY God and decide for HERSELF what was proper or improper--despite God's warning and she took the fruit and ate it.

This led mankind into sin and death--and they lost paradise and ever lasting life for all of mankind!

But through Jesus' ransom sacrifice of his perfect life--Jehovah God will restore paradise and we can live on the earth forever. Here is my Biblical proof:

Scriptures that state a new earth will be created and all God’s followers will live there

    Psalm 37:11

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

    Matthew 5:5

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

    Isaiah 65:17

For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

    Isaiah 66:22

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.

    2 Peter 3:13

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein righteousness is to dwell.

    Revelation 21:1

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Perhaps this 2 minute video can show you why the world is so wicked and how God will correct this:

Eden was paradise upon the earth - there was no pain or toil

these came after the fall from Grace

stoopid Adam traded paradise for some forbidden knowledge

    not so bright

"The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it."

Maybe it was "easy" work, but the creation-story tells us some kind of work was always part of God's intent for mankind in the world.
