God's plan seems far from perfect. First eve eats the fruit, then with the flood god has to wipe out?

nearly all of humanity, then at the tower of babel he has to force people to not get along, then later has to have his own son killed. Doesn't sound like an omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent being to me

The plan fell apart long before that. Don't forget that half the angels revolted. And if the fruit was so freaking important why would you put it in the middle of an unsupervised garden with a couple of naked idiots wandering around who don't even know right from wrong yet?

The tale is so implausible that it doesn't even make for a good story.

Then again you're far from perfect. Don't judge what you are incapable of understanding.
