Can I borrow an e-book from a friends kindle account?
I'm in college and a friend of mine took the course I'm taking now last semester and offered to borrow me her text book. She said she was pretty sure I could do this but is having a hard time remembering how to go about it. Any suggestions?

It depends. It seems that only some Kindle ebooks are loanable. If your friend can loan the particular ebook it will say so on the page where she bought the ebook. Up top, if the ebook is loanable, it should say (for her, when she is logged into her account) "Loan this book to anyone..." and have a link for her to do that.
And I guess you will need a Kindle or Kindle app that is registered to YOUR Amazon account.
