A storyline where Abigail did it would have been quite interesting though, in my POV.

Abby did not have any reason to shoot Nick. Their little fight in the park (where Ben jumped in) was no big deal. But Gabi, shot him 3 times, that is overkill. like stabbing someone in the heart, (which would kill them immediately), and then stab them 20 more times. that is overkill.

all the evidence is pointing to Gabi at this point but we all know how messed up the Salem PD is so anything is possible. However I don't really see Abigail as being able to pull something like that off.
