how to reheat Chinese dumplings?

Hi, my mom and I were in the area of a very good reviewed chinese restaurant and we decided to bring some food home and she got fried dumplings, but we have no idea what the best way to reheat those. They have been in the refrigerator all night. My mom was thinking of heating them in the oven. I say since they were fried to just fry them some. And how long to reheat them too. Anyone can help me? Thanks!

Steam them or put them in the oven (wrapped in foil so they don't burn.)

If you're talking about 'potstickers', you have no problem, as they are fried on one side only. You could let them sit out of the fridge for a short time and then fry them, slowly, on a very low heat, but on the 'other side'. They'll taste just as good!

    Cheers!

    How To Reheat Chinese Dumplings

For deep fried dumplings like potstickers (gyoza) or fried wonton, my suggestion is to microwave first. Microwaving will heat the inside of the fillings of the deep fried dumplings while re-deep frying or oven will further dry out the dumpling wrapper (skin of the dumpling) and the filling will still remain cold sometimes. Moist a paper towel and cover it over your dumplings and microwave first for a minute or so. This way, the moisture will soften the wrapper and the filling is heated. If you like to crisp the dumpling wrapper/skin, then add a little oil and panfry the heated dumpling quickly and both the skin will crisp and not further dry even burnt while making sure the filling is also heated up *
