Why can't I add Firefox add-ons?
Whenever I go to addson.firefox.org, javascript won't load. I checked about:config and I do have javascript enabled.
This is what happens when a friend links me directly to download an addon:
My other add-ons are working. Using Firefox safe mode, clearing cache, and clearing cookies hasn't helped.
Is there a way to download add-ons for Firefox through Chrome/IE?

I realized that this is happening to many other websites, including imgur.
I got help elsewhere: the problem was that my PC had the wrong date, and for some reason Firefox doesn't load Javascript correctly when this happens.

The correct address is "https://addons.mozilla.org/ ", not "addson.firefox.org"
Perhaps your 'friend' has toyed with your head, or he has made a mistake.
Get the correct site by using Firefox> Tools> Add-on's> Get add-on's (then use the upper right search slot to find more specific topics you want)

The correct answers was because my desktop clock was 12 hours behind, and thus 1 day behind. Firefox is weird and didn't like that.
