Simple enough question.... which of these is correct?
I have never written about food before!
or
I have never wrote about food before!
Im sure it must be 'written' but I need confirmation about which is correct!

"I have never written" is correct. "I have never wrote" is incorrect.
It is in the present perfect tense, which you can read about here:

As it points out, the present perfect tense requires the use of the past participle, which you can learn about here:

"Written" is the past participle of "write".

Those are the ones you are most likely to trip on when you use them in a perfect tense.

I have never wrote about food before! is incorrect.
I have never written about food before! is better but a bit clumsy.
I have not written about food before is better.

If you have a contract governing discipline, you can enforce it. If not, there is no general law on the subject and you can quit or be fired at any time and for any reason with no warning by you or to you. Whatever a company chooses to do to limit that, is up to the company.
