The hawks had an over 22 tv rating for game 7 but how many viewers is that and what does it mean?

I am a hawks fan myself and there is a website called bleacher report (This is a very good sport website) and there was some statistic that 777,000 people out of 1 million people in Chicago watched game 6 or something so game 7 was prob around 900,000! I dont think there is a calculation for tv ratings just number of people on that channel
