MATHS PROBLEM HELP. BEST ANSWER GETS 10 POINTS?

ABC is an equilateral triangle, and PQRS is a square of side 6cm each.

Find the difference in the areas of triangle ABC and square PQRS.

    Area of square is 36.

    By area sine rule, area of eq. triangle is 1/2 * 6 * 6 * sin 60 = 9 sqrt 3.

    Now you can work out the difference ;)
