How strong do you think 7 drops of superglue is?

If you put 7 drops of superglue on a metal surface then let it stick to another metal surface and raise both of them up off the ground with a forklift, how much weight do you think it will hold?

Not much. The problem is Superglue dries brittle, and cannot penetrate the metal surfaces anyway. You can't get them rough enough.

It would also take a long time to get 7 drops of Superglue to dry, as you are excluding air for all but the perimeter of the glue smear.

I am discounting the 'flexible' Superglues, as they would be worse anyway.
