Why do you defend the Government till the death, when in fact the Government is their to defend you till the death.?

We ARE government. The government IS US. We create it. And we need it.

So, yes, I’ll defend the need for government ’til the day I die. Do I think gov’t is perfect? Of course not. It’s a shambles. But without it, imagine where we’d be. My, God. Well, we’d be in Somalia or worse.

wrong, the govt could care less about you or me, we are the 4th level of govt, remember "We the People...."

we are the government. We choose people to represent us is all. So, it's up to use to defend ourselves when it comes down to it.

that is NOT the purpose of government!..I don't know where YOU went to school, but where I leanred about governments, I was taught that the purpose of governments was to give us a collective ability to act in unison on the world stage!.while each individual may not have the capability to defend against say Communism, the COLLECTIVE can!..it can also be of use to enforce trade agreemants and such!

It's "there". I don't and don't see that as an issue.
