Does it bother you when people turn on their phones in a movie theater? Even if they're not texting or talking?

The big deal with cellphones is that people don't like to hear the ringtones whether it's a call or a text.

But what about the light? Does the light from their phone distract you from concentrating on the big screen?

Those flickering lights do bother other people. It's not for nothing that theaters are getting tougher about cell phones being on for any reason. Set your phone on vibrate. If you miss a call, it'll go to voice mail. If you want to chat with your friends about the movie, sit away from everyone else, and converse in whispers.
