How can I stop my dad from being angry to my family?

I love my dad but sometimes he can go out of hand. My dad always comes home very happy but when something's go wrong he screams at us and becomes very angry. When my mom asks him to do something that concerns her he gets very angry like she's not the boss if him, example every time my dad comes home he watches tv, my baby brother watches tv too so my dad removes his channel and puts his, then my mom said you should put what Nicolas (baby brother's name) was watching, then my dad got mad. Also he says to my sister and I we are lazy and we don't help a lot. at dinner time we all eat at the table but it's always quite, instead of talking to us in the table he watches tv instead. And he spends more time with his friends than our family, which means he rather spend time with his friends than us. If this keeps happening this could leave to divorce between my mom and dad and I don't want them to be divorced. Please help as soon as possible!
