Did Hollywood ever make a Steel movie?

You know in the comics... A man, a black man, makes a Steel suit and rigs it with high-tech gear to make him fly and fight crime and things like that.... At one point, I thought a movie like that starred Shaq but I don't know..... Anyone's help would be good.

It's supposed to be the same character (John Henry Irons).

Let me save you a Netflix rental on this one -- it'd directed by the same guy who did the Vanilla Ice movie.

    'Nuff said.
