Can epoxy resin be mixed with sand and cement?
My hubby, a builder, has been asked to repair the treads on an external staircase. He has done this before using a mixture of sand, cement and granite. However, someone has told him he should put epoxy resin through the mix.
He doesn't think this is right. Do you know if epoxy resin can be mixed through with sand and cement?

If he's using sand and cement, he should add PVA adhesive, not epoxy. Epoxy is good for fixing cracks in concrete, but not for adding to the mix. http://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-pva-5ltr/572...

yes, The right kind, there are many epoxy resins available, but then the cement is probably not needed.
google finds this:

It's probably possible to find some of these products cheaper if you search for them.
