Scientists found water under earth's surface and creationists use this as proof of Noah's Flood...?
Scientists recently found water under earth's surface and creationists are using this as evidence of Noah's Flood because the Bible says waters came up from the deep, how do you respond to this argument?

You are (I suspect) misquoting what Creationists are saying. No surprise there - a common occurence.
The fact that water is found deep under the earth's surface *is consistent with* the Biblical account, not least the Flood waters which are described as coming from the 'fountains of the deep'.
If the Bible is true (which it is!) then one would expect the scientific facts and observation, to fit with it. (and they do!)
On the other hand the deep underground water is hard to explain (and certinaly not expected) from the evolutionary old-age starting point.
It is amusing (bemusing) to see people claim that there is no evidence for the Global Flood.
The fact that the whole world is covered in sedimentary rock, laid down by water, containing billions of dead creatures is just what one would expect after a Global Flood.
The Global Flood accounts for vast layers of sedimentary rock and the existence the fossils.
Evolutionists have great trouble explaining the existence of fossils at all. (Well they would if they took the trouble to think about it.)
It is very hard to form a fossil by uniformatitarian processes. Dead creatures get eaten in days, minutes or seconds. They don't hang around waiting to get covered by sediment over many years. The fossils are testament to catastrophe.

The amounts are far too small to cause a flood and it took millions of years for that water to get down there so Noah would have had to live for millions of years before the waters receded!
Scientists and geologists have shown that the land bridge at the end of the Mediterranean broke allowing the Atlantic ocean to pour through the med and through the gap to flood the great depression beyond it which became the Black Sea!
That is why the flood is restricted to a very small area and all the very real evidence shows there never was a world wide flood!
You should also realise that much of the sub-surface water is changed into a different solid form!

That underground ocean is where the water for Noah's flood came from. It squirt out through "the fountains of the deep" before the flood.
Genesis 7:11
In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

It makes little difference. There is already more than enough water ON the Earth's surface to support Noah's Flood.

I would respond by pointing out that it is an argument from ignorance. If you're unfamiliar with what that is, wikipedia defines it as the assertion "that a proposition is true because it has not yet been proven false (or vice versa)".
Basically anything that someone tries to explain away as "God did it" because there is no other current explanation for it, is using this fallacy.

All that proves is there is water under the Earth. There is water on the Earth, some is bound to have found its way underground - that is where wells get their water from after all.

It's not proof of Noah's flood.
For the love of pete, creationists are retarded about science but are willing to use it to prove a point.
If they actually read the article they'd notice that it was an element we didn't know was there, but predicted would be there given the events that formed the Earth.
sheesh.
Tell them that ringwoodite is not in the bible.

"Scientists found water under earth's surface and creationists use this as proof of Noah's Flood...?"
Recently?
Sheet man, Australia's Great Artesian Basin has been known of since at least 1878...

Oh, and Noah's flood is a baseless myth... probably born from race memory of the end of the last Ice Age when the ice melted and flooded the lowlands.

Just finding water under earth's surface is not enough. You need to find enough water to cover the earth, well above even Mount Everest. They've yet to find this much water.
