Why is Microsoft OneDrive crashing?
The program was formerly named "Skydrive" but for whatever reason, Microsoft changed the name to "OneDrive" in the last set of updates (June 2014). It also started to crash repeatedly, with the dialog in the picture popping up about every hour after that. I'm guessing Microsoft broke it in the last set of updates.
If it wasn't for this pop-up, I wouldn't care too much, because I don't use it, but the pop-ups are a bit of a pain. Is this happening to anyone else? and does anyone know of a solution?

Finally found an old solution in the knowledgebase for skydrive that seems to work so far (finger's crossed).
From the command prompt (or the search function on Windows 8/8.1), type the following:
skydrive.exe /reset
They haven't bothered to change the filename yet, so it's still skydrive.exe
If your rig can't find skydrive.exe, you might have to navigate to windows/system32 because that's where it is.
I've no idea why this works, and rebooting doesn't.
