What do you think of the name Iris?

And also what are other flowers that could e girl names?

And what are some stones that could be girl names?

    Iris... Greek goddess of rainbows... pretty cool.

    Daisy

    Rose

    Marigold

    Basically, any flower/plant could be a nice girls name, as long as it's not really scientific-sounding (ie. Bellis Perennis) or just something atrocious (ie. if stinkweeds and stenchblossoms were actual things).

    For rocks:

    Emerald (Emmy)

    Ruby

    Sapphire

    Opal

    Topaz

    Mica (MAI-kuh)

    Or you cold go big use the names of mountains (ie. Whitney, Shasta, Everest, etc.)

    I just can't imagine looking at a sweet little baby girl and calling her Iris. Sounds like an older lady. I like Lily or Rose.

    Violet

    Stone names:

    Topaz

    Emerald

    Ruby

    Garnet

    Diamond

    Daisy, rose(and forms of it, rosette, ect.), zinnia, magnolia, clover, poppy, primrose, violet, emerald, opal, ruby, Garnett, crystal, diamond, amethyst, sapphire
