He going to draw a line in the sand OR maybe he'll be more flexible OR maybe he sit down with them any place any time without preconditions and work things out OR maybe he'll blame it all on the movie ''Planet of the Apes''

All options are NOT on the table, all that phrase means is we have not committed to a course of action yet. The president is NOT obligated to tell you the arguments for or against any course of action that has not been chosen. To do so would give opponents an insight into where we have vulnerabilities. Think, suppose he said we won't use a hammer because of our broken arm. that would tell our enemies to hit the arm, right? it is better they aren't aware of limitations we might have.

In the frustration we could assume he is clearing it to drop atomic bombs there. We have never tried the new ones out. Just kidding but options are options and he has to be looking at the power of his office. It would take a big event to make them think about peace and we should stay clear because we are never going to really win.

Could all this just be a way to get a pipeline thru Syria to the mediterranean? Big business interest has no power when they have no one to do business with.

Maybe we should send big business over there to do a deal the people could live with.

Yes, it does. The Iraqi PM kicked the US out of Iraq in 2011, and mismanaged the country. The US invested a decade, 5K American lives, and $4T. America owes Iraq nothing else.
