buying a chrysler 300 crd 2010 model?

im interesting in buying a chrysler 300 CRD mafia lookalike car , have always had a thing for big american cars , sincethe chreysler 300 came out ive always wanted one, due to its size , style ,& looks. i only go for black color cars. as they look more like mafia type vehicles. is there any set backs on these types of models such a reliabity ,costs & maintenance.

Update:

i know that the chrysler 300C chassis is from a mercedes S-class which should hopefully give it a sound chassis build quality ...

Actually @evelyn the modified dog if you knew anything about these cars you'd know they require very little maintenance and will run forever. The cars good strong engine and transmission.

    They're sh1t.

Read the secondhand guides online if you don't believe me, dimwits.

They're typically crap Yank cars .... big, ungainly, appallingly made from the cheapest materials available and totally outclassed by everything else made in Europe, Japan or even Korea, and no, the motoring press don't love them.

The only thing 10 years out of date was the engineering in these cars when they were new, based as they were on the 1995 Mercedes W210 series.

But hey, it's your money and if you think they're 'cool' then go buy one, if you're genuinely in the market for one, just expect to be very disappointed when you've had it a few months and the novelty wears off....

A college of mine thought about a C300 rather than a Mercedes. He was actually quite impressed by the way it drove. Solid Mercedes engine and auto-box, but 'tacky' switch-gear and 'fit and finish'.

You can't really argue about the value for money, although I would guess depreciation would be pretty heavy.

For me though.....I just don't like the 'American' look !

Your picture is a Magnum with a 300 front end bolted on. The cars are ok, nothing horrible about them. Pretty big and fuel hungry, but still better than a SUV

Struggling to find a question here but the motoring press love them.

Ignore Evelyn, currently running about ten years out of date with any opinions.

Pretty ugly car, hope it is better than the previous model which was a load of rubbish.
