the problem ithat i noticed was that the on-board computer display unit failed to illuminate, unable to see the sat nav screen or the stereo display. the radio works although its a guessing game to find a channel. also my sat nav reader in the trunk does not have a disc..have read profile about resetting the sat-nav by disconnecting the fuse number 49 for around 10min. then replace fuse and screen should lite up / reset. but its not working, even tryed disconnecting battery, still no joy..

was driving all nite long for 4 hours down a dark country road when my instrument cluster started to flicker on and off, and then about a mile up the road the car just died, everything was dead, had no power ,nothing was working ,my incar fone also shut down. was left stranded for hours. walked a few miles back and found a motel with a gas station, awaited tow truck next morning ,got car towed to garage ,couple hours later ,the mechanic drove my car back to the motel and said he couldnt find a fault with it..says car is running fine...seems to me something weird happend that night..

when driving the jeep at 30mph in a straight line is very difficult to keep the steering wheel steady as the vehicle wobbles all over the road, trying to keep the wheel steady ,it looks like while driving under the influence. is their something serious wrong with the steering.

when driving in a straight line the car drives fine ,but when it comes to slowing down to make a left or right turn the car tends to hesitate or judder ,,as if the fuel pump is loosing pressure or the gas tank is running low..have replaced the filter and given the car a service. but still same problem.

1975 cadillac fleetwood wont start?
ive decided to get my caddy out of the garage to use. been stored for the past 8 years. have connected up new battery ,new coolant and oil change ,with plugs. also has fresh gas in the tank but refuses to start. engine turns over slow ,got spark ,but still no joy. what am i missing

auto transmission problems?
my father has a mercedes 1987 230 te model and the auto transmission has failed , the car wont drive any more although it will drive in reverse. would an oil change and filter resolve the problem or could this be a major transmission over-haul or replace-ment. ,this is his only vehicle to get him around. and now the car has come to a complete stop. cheers for any advise.

ive noticed that my jeep has been leaving oil patches on my drive-way "black oil" .and its getting worse by the day have-ing to top up the engine oil once a week, when engine is running i can see it dripping from between the transmission and the engine block ,although the top engine is dry, looks like its coming from the sump maybe ,but cannot see clearly between the bell housing of the transmission.does this mean am having to remove the transmission.

1972 CITROEN DS?
i noticed that their was some green liquid/fluid that has leaked out of the back of the car inbetween the rear wheels. and i also noticed that when the engine is running i can hear a continues clicking sound every 4 seconds. i checked suspension fluid and looks okay ,not sure about the leak or noise, hope its not a complete suspension rebuild or replace.

im interesting in buying a chrysler 300 CRD mafia lookalike car , have always had a thing for big american cars , sincethe chreysler 300 came out ive always wanted one, due to its size , style ,& looks. i only go for black color cars. as they look more like mafia type vehicles. is there any set backs on these types of models such a reliabity ,costs & maintenance.
