1975 cadillac fleetwood wont start?
ive decided to get my caddy out of the garage to use. been stored for the past 8 years. have connected up new battery ,new coolant and oil change ,with plugs. also has fresh gas in the tank but refuses to start. engine turns over slow ,got spark ,but still no joy. what am i missing

If it turns over slow, it isn't getting enough volts/amps to the starter, or the starter is bad. First make sure the battery cables and posts on new battery are clean. Then check ground wire connections, and hot wire to starter is tight. Get it turning over right, then you can see if the fuel system needs attention.

Old engines are simple. If you have spark, then there is no gas. After all those years, the float bowl needle valve is probably stuck closed, allowing no fuel into the carb.
