jeep cherokee laredo 2.5td?

ive noticed that my jeep has been leaving oil patches on my drive-way "black oil" .and its getting worse by the day have-ing to top up the engine oil once a week, when engine is running i can see it dripping from between the transmission and the engine block ,although the top engine is dry, looks like its coming from the sump maybe ,but cannot see clearly between the bell housing of the transmission.does this mean am having to remove the transmission.

Check the oil pressure sender switch, they like to leak if the plastic part cracks and the oil always ends up dripping from the lowest point, the oil pan or bell housing.
