Doesn't matter where it's parked. It still belongs to someone. If you just take it without the owner's permission, that makes you a thief.
If you REALLY want the car then spend the time and energy to find out who owns the property where the car is parked, and offer to buy it.

Unless you want a misdemeanor for grand theft after noticing a late 1950's Plymouth belvedere in restorable condition. If you really want the car you would be prepared to track down the property owner and put in an offer to purchase the car.

Someone owns the cars so the best thing is to find the property owner and talk to them. It's not a good idea to just start messing around on private property without the owners consent.

it has no license plates, means whoever dumped it there was either running insurance scam (claimed it was stolen) or did not want to pay utilisation bill when bringing it to the proper dumpster. either way I think it is perfectly ok for u to take it and the owner of the property will be just glad to get rid of the junk. and good luck in trying to fix it.
