It does seem reasonable to me. However it shouldn't stop you shopping around for a better deal as long as it's a like for like comparison. I found L & V competitive.

Nobody does insurance quotes in here, dummy. You need to get another quote or six and compare them yourself, that's the only way.

And for god's sake, don't do that online crap, not with that vehicle. That thing is in incredible condition for its age, meaning someone either put a lot of restorative work into it and / or went to great lengths to protect it from the elements.

You'd be wise to have that car appraised and insured to value, because it's worth a lot. If you don't have it insured to value, it will be worth slightly over maybe $900 (my keyboard doesn't do pounds) on your policy. That means a broken windshield will turn the vehicle into a total loss, and you'll walk away with a fraction of what it's really worth.

You can't get insured-to-value quotes online, because (and this is doubly true in the UK) it's hard enough to get reliable quotes for any vehicle online. Do it by phone or in person. Anyone who doesn't offer quotes by phone or in person isn't a real insurance professional, no exceptions.

It is not a very powerful car hand handles like a barge it is a big low powered engine.

There are so many factors on insurance.

LHD have a number of issues.

Car park machines and toll both.

The car will be hard to park as it is a full size US car.

As others have said, it pays to shop around, but don't use comaprison sites, go direct to the insurers. Your Caddy is classed as a classic car, so check out some of the insurers that cover classics..

It is a good price if no other insurance companies beat it.

"fully comp." or full comprehensive ?
