Recommended books for me?
So, I am stuck in bed for the next two weeks, since I just had surgery.Thankfully I have access to kindle, so I can buy some books for my recovery. I am a huge fan of science fiction and fantasy novels, as well as anything action packed and full of adventure. What books would you recommend to me, since I don't know what to read! Please no typical suggestion like Harry Potter or Percy Jackson as I have already read all of those at least eight times.

Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
Legacies by Mercedes Lackey and Rosemary Edgehill
Fallen by Thomas Sniegoski
Imager by L.E. Modesitt Jr.
Sabriel by Garth Nix
Through Wolf's Eyes by Jane Lindskold
Trickster's Choice by Tamora Pierce
Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith

If you liked Harry Potter and would not mind a more adult book, I highly recommend the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. Book 1 (Name of the Wind - around 800 pages) and Book 2 (Wise Man's Fear - over 1000 pages) are released. Also a novella side story will soon be released. The third full book is due out this year.
So far my husband, his brother, me and our college-age niece have all read the first two books and all loved them.
I also enjoy the Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer. The first book is Cinder. There will be 4 books in this series and I think 3 are already released.
And if you like post-apocalyptic dystopian, check out Hugh Howey's Wool trilogy. For the first two books be sure to buy the "Omnibus" since these two were originally released in smaller pieces. Famous director Ridley Scott bougth the movie rights for Wool! The complete series is:
Wool Omnibus
Shift Omnibus
Dust
And also excellent is Hugh Howey's most recent book "Sand"

Mort
The truth
Soul music
Pyramids
Thief of time
Thud
To mention a few, their all great.
You dont have to read the discworld in order. They are stand alone novels although occassionally reference eachother. I wish I could experience them for the first time again.
Hope you enjoy.

If you like Sci fi try some Iain M Banks, he is awesome. Consider Phlebas is his first and one of my favourites.
Also Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood. That's fantastic, dystopian end of the world stuff.
