In-Ring Psychology, Microphone/Promo Work and Evolving: Triple H or Bret 'Hitman' Hart?

When it comes to in-ring psychology HHH's reputation among his peers is that of a ring general, a master of psychology in the ring and on the microphone!

Through out the years I've gained respect for HHH's skill in playing with the crowd's emotion, positive or negative, he knew how to work a crowd. With a few exceptions of some smarky fans, HHH had the fans eating out of his palm or genuinely screaming things at him almost at will. That is a talent that only a few wrestlers have. They don't call him the cerebral assassin for nothing.

But seriously some people should stop bashing HHH for marrying the Boss's daughter. If any wrestler was in his position they would do it too, and believe me if HHH sucked, even if he was married to Steph, Vince McMahon would have never pushed Triple-H. If anything, HHH is on top on his own merits.

Yes it does help being married into the company, but at the end of the day he won the Boss over with his charm. And like I said before, they don't call him the Cerebral Assassin and a Master of Psychology for nothing. The guy married the Boss's daughter! Playa!!

Bottom Line! You don't have to like the guy to give his deserved credit! At the end of the day, TRIPLE-H is that damn good. At least that's what I believe.

Now Bret Hart is good don't get me wrong. But I'll be honest with you, I've lost some respect (as a fan) towards Bret because he hasn't stopped being so negative towards his peers. I understand being brutally honest could rub people the wrong way, but it just seems that most of the interviews he seems bitter. One example is when he went on a rant against HHH and not giving him the credit he deserved. The comments were so absurd that even Jericho a fellow Canadian went in HHH's favor. Read Below.

Jericho on Bret Hart’s comments on Triple H:

"It was funny because when I saw that comment that Bret had said, I was kind of surprised because I think that Triple H has had a lot of great matches, dozens of great matches. I could think of two or three that I was in with him myself, so, maybe, I don’t know why Bret would say that, maybe it’s still a little bit personal or some bad vibes or taste in his mouth from what happened years ago. But I’ll tell you face to face that Triple H has had many great matches and I always enjoyed watching him work, even up to the match he had with Lesnar. I don’t know if that was a great match, it was definitely a very good one, so I would definitely never ever bury Triple H’s wrestling talent for sure I think he’s one of the best we’ve ever seen."


HHH is better than Bret Hart in almost every single category you can name. I even prefer HHH's wrestling skill over Bret Hart's. People just have to realize that there's more to pro-wrestling than simply technical moves/holds. HHH is miles ahead of Bret Hart in ring-psychology. HHH could work your leg/arm at the beginning of the match to eventually damaging your targeted body part to the point where he executes the Pedigree. HHH could be getting dominated to through out the match, even limping a majority of match and the fans across the arena buy it because he's that good!

Bret Hart is good, but not as good as HHH.

I really don't see the point in comparing the two, different styles, anyways I don't care what Jim Cornette says about triple h, I make my own opinions, HHH has played a major role in WWE since the mid 90s, I don't see the point in bashing Bret Hart, he is considered one of the best ever too.

You really need to get over whatever is bugging you with Bret Hart, because no one is going to take you seriously if you repeatedly bash one of the best

What is up with you always comparing Triple H to Bret Hart. Ok Triple H has the In ring psychology and mic skills over Bret Hart. Bret Hart was the better wrestler than Triple H.

Bret hart is the better wrestler,and is a underrated heel IMO.
